WORK LOCATION

RESPONSIBILITIES

Research and Development: Scoping out and researching provided project statements to understand their requirements and feasibility.
Software Design: Breaking down complex problems into implementable software components and designing robust architectures.
Development: Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code to drive project completion.
Integration and Testing: Collaborating with the team to integrate software components and ensure system functionality.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Industry Trends: Staying up-to-date with the latest robotics advancements, including reinforcement learning, simulations, and LLM/LWM technologies.
Strategic Direction: Identifying key development areas that align with our engineering capabilities and business goals.
Project Oversight: Overseeing the execution of in-house development efforts, guided by input from the growth team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Entrepreneurial Spirit: Experience being part of the core team of a startup, or leading a robotics club.
Adaptability: A willingness and ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
Strong Communication and Organization: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Technical Proficiency: Solid programming skills in C++ and Python, with a deep understanding of ROS2 development.
Robotics Fundamentals: A strong grasp of core robotics concepts such as SLAM, controls, planning, transforms, etc.
Tool Familiarity: Experience with simulation tools like Gazebo, Unity, or Mujoco, as well as Docker and Git.
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in robotics software development.
